What is GypsyMoon Marketplace?

GypsyMoon Marketplace is a curated shopping experience held at Highland Stables in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Shop 80+ hand-selected small businesses offering fashion, home décor, handmade goods, jewelry, gifts, specialty foods, antiques, and more.

How did GypsyMoon start?

Founded in 2015 by Angie & Whitnee Mosley, GypsyMoon began with a dream of bringing incredible small businesses together at their family’s Highland Stables. Since then, it has grown into a twice-a-year shopping tradition in South Central Kentucky.

What is a barn sale?

Think less flea market and more curated boutique marketplace in a beautiful Kentucky barn setting. Our vendors are hand-selected and create unique shopping spaces filled with carefully chosen products, one-of-a-kind finds, and beautiful displays.

How often is GypsyMoon held?

Twice a year! Join us for Spring GypsyMoon Marketplace in April and Christmas GypsyMoon Marketplace in November.

Tickets + Shopping Sessions

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

Advance tickets are highly recommended. Each shopping session has limited capacity, and our most popular sessions may sell out. Purchasing ahead also guarantees you the best available ticket price and makes check-in quicker when you arrive.

Why does GypsyMoon have shopping sessions?

Our timed shopping sessions help create a more enjoyable shopping experience while giving our vendors time to restock and reset between groups. Your ticket is valid during the shopping session you select when purchasing.

Can I arrive before my shopping session?

We recommend arriving approximately 10–15 minutes before your session begins to allow time for parking and check-in.

If you arrive earlier, please remain comfortably in your vehicle until closer to your session time. We cannot allow early entry because our vendors use the time between sessions to restock and reset their booths.

Portable restrooms are available in the parking area for your convenience.

What happens if I’m late for my session?

You can still enter after your session has started, but your shopping session will end at the originally scheduled time. We recommend arriving on time so you can enjoy your full GypsyMoon experience.

What is a Shopper’s Choice Ticket?

A Shopper’s Choice Ticket allows you to attend one shopping session of your choice, space permitting.

What is an All-Access Pass?

An All-Access Pass gives you the flexibility to come and go throughout the weekend according to the access included with your pass.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No! You can show your ticket and QR code directly from your phone at check-in. We recommend screenshotting or saving it before you arrive so it’s easy to find.

Are tickets refundable?

All ticket sales are final.

If GypsyMoon is rescheduled, your ticket will transfer to the new date. If the event is canceled, you will receive a full refund.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes! If you can no longer attend, your ticket may be transferred to another guest.

Do children need tickets?

Children 12 & under are FREE and do not need a paid admission ticket.

Planning Your Visit

Is parking available?

Yes! Parking is FREE and available on-site at Highland Stables.

Follow event signage and directions from our parking attendants when you arrive. Golf cart transportation is also available to help shoppers get from the parking area to the market entrance.

What happens if it rains?

GypsyMoon is a rain-or-shine event! The majority of the market is indoors or under covered areas, so a little Kentucky weather won’t stop the shopping.

Is Highland Stables heated and air-conditioned?

Yes! The main shopping areas inside Highland Stables are climate controlled.

Some vendors, food trucks, and activities are located outdoors, so we still recommend dressing for the day’s weather.

What should I wear?

Comfortable shoes are a must! You’ll be doing plenty of shopping, so dress comfortably and seasonally. Layers are always a good idea for our outdoor areas.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable shoes, your phone with your ticket QR code, a shopping tote, and your favorite shopping crew!

How many vendors will be there?

You can expect 80+ hand-selected small businesses. We intentionally curate our vendor lineup to bring you a great variety of products and shopping experiences.

What will I find at GypsyMoon?

A little bit of everything!

Shop fashion, home décor, handmade goods, jewelry, accessories, gifts, specialty foods, antiques, seasonal finds, and so much more.

Every GypsyMoon has a different mix of businesses, which is part of the fun!

Are all of the vendors indoors?

The majority of GypsyMoon vendors are located inside Highland Stables, with additional vendors and food trucks located outdoors near the entrance.

Do vendors accept credit cards?

Most vendors accept credit cards or digital payments, although payment methods vary by individual business. Bringing a little cash is never a bad idea!

Will there be food and drinks?

Absolutely — come hungry!

You’ll find food trucks, specialty foods, sweets, drinks, and other treats throughout the market. Offerings vary by event.

Can I bring a stroller?

Yes! Strollers are welcome. We recommend smaller or umbrella-style strollers when possible because some vendor spaces can get tight.

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome. Please remember that GypsyMoon can be busy and crowded, so use your best judgment based on your pet’s comfort level.

Is GypsyMoon just for women?

Not at all! Bring your girlfriends, husband, mom, kids, or make it a whole family outing. Everyone is welcome at GypsyMoon.
